Our mission
The modern medical system no longer works for patients or providers. Corporate medicine has reduced patients to a set of insurance billing codes to be fought over by large medical institutions, large insurance companies, and large pharmaceuticals. Providers have lost their autonomy in this system. As a result health has deteriorated, costs has exploded, and patient trust in the medical system has collapsed.
To solve healthcare's problems the patient-provider relationship must be restored. Providers need autonomy to think beyond billing codes and prescriptions to get to the root of each patient's health issue. Patients need to be able to easily find a practice that meets their specific needs. Treatable's mission is to reverse the consolidation taking place in our health system by corporate medicine. We do this by providing the tools and resources for private practices to compete. We search for the best private practices in the nation and partner with those private practices using our platform. Thriving private practices improve outcomes, reduce costs, and restore patient trust in our medical system.
